In 1833 a
small group of pioneers settled along the banks of Bean Creek
and began establishing the community they later named Morenci.
Now, 175 years later, Morenci is home to approximately 2,400
people.
Citizens
are intent on making small-town life pleasurable and desirable
for current generations, and for those to come. Morenci shows
its fondness of the past through the continual upgrading of
infrastructure, and its pride for the future with the recent
creation of an industrial park, a natural area and a middle
school campus.
Morenci
offers a unique blend of business, recreation, agriculture and
entertainment to meet the needs and desires of its citizens.
